       Online cutting and editing functions

We have developed an easy-to-use interface to make it simple for you to buy only the footage that you want.  Below each video you will see the bar above.  This bar lets you navigate quickly, and accurately, through each clip.  There are grey buttons just below the video window that allow the user to jump forward and backward within the clip to accurately set the 'in and out points.'

Once the in and out points have been set, the duration of the selection will be displayed.  You will now be able to preview the clip you have set up - it will play in the same video window as the uncut video.  At the same time, the price for the clip will be displayed on the right in Euros so you will know how much everything will cost before you add it to your cart.

If you are happy with the in and out points, and you are ready to buy the media, then all you have to do is hit the green button labelled "Save (Add to Cart)," and it will be added to your cart..

1. Play clip

2. Set in and out points as you wish

3. Select

4. Preview selected area

5. Press add to cart button

...and do it again any time you want to within
this video or in other videos

For every media

onlinefootage.tv understands that not everyone needs broadcast quality video for their purposes.  For online publications, lower streaming quality might be acceptable, while for print publications it is possible that only a still is needed or just some text.  You can choose between those formats and more.

To the right of the video window is a small white box that contains a number of format and price options.  These range from broadcast quality video to video text.  You select which quality you would like by clicking on the corresponding boxes.  Your selection will now be highlighted in turquoise; this is to ensure that there will be no confusion over which format you have selected.

By using the grey buttons found below the video preview pane, the user can jump forward and backward in different increments, namely one second, five seconds, ten seconds, and even one minute.  This allows the user to jump forward and backward both quickly and accurately.

Searching

onlinefootage.tv has been designed, from the ground up, with the user in mind.   It is possible to search the online database of content using tags, but it is also possible to refine your search to specific media types or content, event location, license types, date, etc.
